This could possibly be one of the worst gift ideas I've ever heard:

If they just happen to not be in a union at this time, insert a photo of what their perfect partner should look like [it's referring to a locket here]. Tell them it acts as a daily affirmation or wish manifestation to attract that person to them. They won't leave home without it.

Seriously, who comes up with that kind of thing? Did they never consider that it would be incredibly shallow and offensive, and might lead that person never to speak to you again? Who wants to give a gift that says "you're not adequate on your own, so you'd better couple up."? Then there's the problem of the superficial judgments involved in finding a picture of what you think some one's soul mate should look like. Didn't we get over judging couple by how good they looked together about a decade ago? I'll bet the person who came up with this also sends chain letters, and has a fuzzy pink steering wheel cover.
