I am now reminded of why I never kept a diary as a child. First, I never had anything interesting to put in it, and second, no one was ever going to read it. These two problems have made themselves apparent in this blog. In case I'm wrong, and some one is actually reading this, I apologize for the growing infrequency with which I post. I honestly have nothing to say. I will now post one more paragraph and then try to limit my posts to those times when they might actually be interesting.

Wednesday was April's birthday. She has a beautiful, childlike joy about her that means that making a big deal about her birthday is fun rather than annoying. After a few drinks we all went to see the Groundlings. I was surprised at how funny they were. I was able to teach everyone a new word. For having recently been voted America's favorite word, "defenestration" wasn't too well known. Either way, the defenestration of Prague is still my favorite historical event. How do you argue with throwing people out the window as a means of revolt? Anyway, then it was back to our place for ice cream cake, presents, and sleep. That was a good night. I like things that remind me of how much I love my friends and why.
