I know that anger is supposed to be one of the stages of grief, does the same apply to losing an employee? My boss has now come around to the reaction I kind of expected out of him. He thinks that I should have let him know that I was applying to grad school so that he could have planned ahead and prepared. Yeah, that would have worked out real well. I'm sure he would have taken that with a cool head. Given that I make next to nothing, I think that a month's notice was ample. He of course, isn't aware that the time and effort put into training me was done with everyone but him knowing that I was leaving.
