Love life and social life mingled last night, and I think it went well. Dinner hosted several people I hadn't seen or spoken to since November, so there was interrogation going on while I cooked. I'm not sure how much information was gathered, but my friends are friendly and welcoming people, so the impression I got is that he was quickly brought into the circle.

So that was the one surprise for the evening, and it only affected a handful of my guests. Other than that the food was good, the wine flowed, and conversation was plentiful. It was a fun night, and I'm glad to be socializing again.
