I've been all kinds of busy and out of sorts lately, with the result that I've completely checked out on some of my responsibilities. I've basically forgotten that I'm a student, with the unfortunate result that the group from my Capstone thinks I've died. This is the last week of classes, and I'm ready to be done. Only trouble is that now I need a job. I'm done at Amnesty on the 12th, and Ann Taylor hardly qualifies as a way to support myself. On top of that is the problem of the boy. I never know quite what to think, but continue investing large amounts of time into him. There's just so much going on that I've had a mental block against productivity and haven't been sleeping. I'm running in caffiene.

I'm just a mess right now.

As a side note, I'd be interested in finding out more about the relationship between the hip hop generation and the civil rights generation.

One really bad example of that relationship might be Russell Simmons and the oh-so-inspiring "vote or die" campaign.
