Not that any of you are going to care, but I just got this response to my last post, and was entertained enough to want to share:

As regards your blog, the reason we remark "he's cute" when you introduce people is that the trifecta of good significant other qualities--smart, nice, AND attractive--very rarely occurs all three in the same person. With that small a pool to go around, it's amazing that you even found one at all, but much less odd that he's interested in you. Of course he'd be interested in you, you're awesome--the question is more "how did you actually find someone that well-rounded to begin with.
