Is it humanly possible for this year's Spring Fling to be even one tenth as fun as last year's? Given the lack of Bryce, Catherine, and Wilson...one is inclined to think not. Factors in its favor however include a better venue, a better dress, and a date who's far less likely to find a replacement. I'll report back tomorrow...or next week some time.
Also of note is a recent posting on Bryce's blog that made me extraordinarily happy. It happened to include this picture:

There are several things I'd like to point out here. First, the complete lack of resemblance to anyone but Herr Tiger. Second, there's the little known fact that the artist had originally painted us holding hands. That was...awckward, but explains why my arm is so f-ed up looking. Third, and most importantly, is the story of how this picture came to be. In a nutshell, the caricaturist refused to do a picture of just the tiger even though we were willing to pay full price. He had no problem adding the little guy to a picture of one or both of us, but was above drawing a picture of a tiger puppet. I do however like that the little guy is riding a very confused looking camel. Excellent.

Okay, for the Zillionth time, NOT MY FAULT that I was apparently extraordinarily adorable that night! It's not like I can plan these things, or else you wouldn't have to try to set me up with someone...
Sweetie, it was not directed at you. You were not even mentioned. Take a deep breath.
I was laughing at Bryce and indicating that this year I had an actual date as opposed to a best friend. Go me.
I haven't had time to work on the set up, but trust me, it will hit you with a vengeance.
can we work on the "not announcing my every fling to the entire interweb" thing?
