Last night rather unexpectedly turned into an intense 4 hour phone conversation. At the root of it all was a fundamental misunderstanding. However, a rather significant portion was taken up by me trying to explain to the guy I've now been dating for three months how relationships and emotions are interconnected. Now, tell me if I'm wrong, but I should not have to be delivering relationship 101 to a 24 year old. I know it may be silly of me to expect interpersonal competancy from a 24 year old male in the first place, but for Christ's sake, this is fucking ridiculous. Can the guys my own age I've dated thus far really have been that far ahead of the curve? I'm used to guys being kind of emotionally dumb, but not illiterate.

Ok, I'm done now. I'll not be burdening you with a whole lot more of this.

I concur.

Boys are Dumb.

Throw rocks at them.

:D

P.S. Golden Lion Tamarins are quite possibly the cutest little buggers ever! The LA zoo was trying to train a breeding pair so's they could rerelease them into the wild. They roamed free through the Eucalyptus of Griffith Park and all I wanted to do was take one home. I hope you plan on posting pics of them REALLY soon!

I think LA's free ranging program is ending because of construction. All of the Golde Lion Tamarins in the US are coordinated through the National Zoo, which started the free ranging program.

The cool thing about LA's program was that thanks to the loveliness of Southern California weather they could stay out pretty much year round.
