Two funny tidbits from the last week. First, in DC, the Republicans are the third party. The DC Statehood Green Party receives far more votes. Dems are still on top though. Second, I had a very DC moment Saturday as I had to explain to a guy *in German* that I would not fact be taking him home with me. Part of the reason we were speaking German is that the rest of the party was speaking French, and that's jut not cool.

For as busy as it was, this was quite the good weekend. Even work was enjoyable. It didn't hurt that Jacqui stopped by with cookies just because she's sweet and adorable. I have brand new hair which always helps me feel more human, and got much Jenny time, which makes me smile.

This week has the potential to go in many different directions, so we'll see which it chooses.
