The first rule of keeping a blog is to not talk about work. We all know that. I'm going to break that rule for one moment to say something that's been weighing on me: I'm satisfied with my job. I'm one of very few people I know that actually say that, and I end up feeling guilty about it. Most of my friends are underpaid, underutilized, or otherwise unhappy with their situations. Personally, I'm doing pretty well.

Of course, I'm about due for my review, which has my stomach turning in knots. We'll see how that goes.
