So, I finally made a decision about grad school. I'm going to take the risk and go to George Washington. I now have to find a job and place to live. That should be fun.
I continue to work on destroying my car. In seven months, I've replaced two tires, messed up the gas door, and now smashed in the passenger side tail light. How do I do it you ask? Talent.
Easter was great fun. The kids table got a bit rowdy, but in a good way. I was reminded of how great family can be. There were some folks there I haven't seen in a long while, so it was rather nice. The odd thing was that I actually felt vaguely cool, which never happens. There's something to be said for being the confident older cousin.
And finally, I'm coming up north to rain fire down upon your Picnic Day. Book your time now, because it's going fast. ;) Honestly though, this looks to be a good weekend. I'll just have to get through the training I'm doing first. That's fairly daunting, but once I'm through it, there's a nice reward waiting for me. I'll at very least be seeing Vanessa, Dave, Katrina, Steve, and Bryce. That's not bad for two days. I should work on others as well... Funny, I feel happier just thinking about it. I need to avoid the nostalgia though. This will not be a barbecue at Suntree, just a pleasant visit.
