So it turns out that one of the guys in my econ class went to UCR. This spawned the telling of a few UC lightbulb jokes, and fond memories of the UC system. Might I please reiterate how happy UCD and UCR are that Merced is coming along to take the title of least desirable UC location. Between the craphole that is Riverside and the fact that Davis is the only ag school in the system, there was always a bit of shame. As an Aggie, I just fell back on the fact that we're well ranked, and made fun of Santa Cruz. Anyway, for your education and in the spirit of nostalgia, here are a few of the UC lightbulb jokes:

How many UC _______ students does it take to change a lightbulb?

-Davis: None. Davis doesn't have electricity.
-LA: One to change the bulb, and the entire world to revolve around him.
-Riverside: None. Nobody wants to see Riverside
-San Diego: Two. One to change the bulb and one to mix the martinis.
-Santa Barbara: One, but he gets four units for it.
-Santa Cruz: One to change the bulb and five to share the experience.

I apologize to Berkeley, Irvine, and San Francisco. Yours are all just too long, and really not that funny. Merced, I don't even want to know what yours is going to be.
