So now I'm fully immersed in finals, and having trouble motivating. Once I've finished the policy paper that's been plaguing me for weeks, I don't think I'll ever willing work on Sri Lanka again. At the very least, I'll never have to take another economics class. I've just got to worry about the insanely long problem set and intimidating exam. What bugs me is that this class that is more of a nuisance than anything else is taking away from the focus I have for my other assignments. Luckily everything else is compartmentalized so that I don't have to worry about too many things at once. I just need to be sure to motivate enough today so that everything gets done.

Catherine and I took a study break last night and walked down to Ballston to see Motorcycle Diaries. That was amazing! It was such a visually stunning movie, and surprisingly uplifting considering that it was about the making of a revolutionary. It doesn't hurt that Gael Garcia Bernal is easy on the eyes. Overall, it was just a nice evening. It was good to walk there, and fun to spend time being low key with Catherine. She's pretty awesome. Of course I came home and fell into bed, and now I'm having trouble motivating.

Goals for today: 1) Crack out four pages comprising the basic structure of my paper. 2) Get a handle on the equations I'll need to complete my problem set. 3) Get this all done in time to get Frank from the airport at 10:00.

It might also be nice to pick up a Christmas tree. Ok, los!
