Pointless observation for the morning:
The Washington Post's entertainment guide has a section called Interns' Guide (which obviously makes perfect sense in this town), and the picture on the front page is of kids standing in front of Sather Gate. Now, I'm not sure that most people would recognize the landmark, but if you look closely you can see the name. What this leaves me wondering is if this is just some stock photo (obviously the most likely option) or if the Post is trying to say something about the over-abundance of Californians here in DC. Is it a nod to UCDC and Cal in the Capitol? Or am I just overly sensitive to things concerning my home state? Probably the latter.
