You know, until the past month, I always felt like September was heavy on birthdays. I'm not sure if I just know more people, or if June/July put September to shame. Seriously, Gentry and her pals kicked off the season with the party Alex aptly titled "the drunkening", and it hasn't let up since, with each of the next two weekends playing host to two or three birthday parties a piece, and people having to schedule their festivities around each other... Good Lord! I'm always up for a drink, but my social calendar is getting kind of full. Seriously, I thought this was supposed to be wedding season, not birthday season.

Hopefully everyone won't be all birthdayed out by September...
