Embarrassingly enough, I was just flipping through pictures of the Miss World pageant and noticed an interesting trend, aside from the fact that all of these girls seemed to embrace being stereotypical. Contestants from predominantly white countries seem largely to have been either born abroad or drawn from an ethnic minority. Take for example, Miss USA, Miss England, and to a lesser extent Miss South Africa who appears to be of South Asian descent. By the way Miss Australia, "representing her country" does not count as an occupation. Seriously, have some ambition, and get an identity. And finally, kudos to Miss Nepal and Miss Germany for illustrating the fact that beauty is subjective, and that standards are cultural rather than universal.

The lesson learned from this brief waste of time was that Latin, Asian, and Middle Eastern women are so much more attractive than white women that we should really stop trying. All the girls bleaching their hair should also keep in mind how much better all of these women look as brunettes. So just give up on the blonde already!
