First, on the topic of weather. I'm not one to complain about being able to wear skirts and open shoes in almost-December. However, it's supposed to snow next week. We're going from warm and perfect, to cold and snowy? It's seriously supposed to drop 20 degrees in a single day. That's just evil.

Second, on the topic of dating. What's better, a nice guy with questionable chemistry, or jackass with energy? Clearly the nice guy. It just seems like they're harder to navigate. When did that happen? I've never been on more than two dates with a jackass, and now nice guys are the mystery? My past 6 months' experience have shown me once more why a second date is ALWAYS necessary. Sure, it'll frequently just reaffirm the initial impression, but at least it erases questions. Additionally, since I don't tend to waste my time with the jackasses, the effect is generally to give the nice guys a second chance.

Third, I've been considering songs that I'd consider iconic of my youth that no one else seems to remember. Among these are "Institutionalized" by Suicidal Tendencies, "Detachable Penis" by King Missile, and "Mexican Radio" by Wall of Voodoo. I'd very much like to one day use the phrase "All I wanted was a Pepsi" and have some one laugh rather than looking puzzled. Is that too much to ask? As for the other two, they're just fun, and we might as well throw in "Sex Dwarf" by Soft Cell for good measure.
