I pretty much had the perfect birthday. Aunt Mary asked me if there was anything I would have changed about the weekend, and the only thing I could come up with was that I would have spent a little less time in Palmdale. Somehow hanging out with my 21 year old cousin's high school aged friends was less than thrilling. A least I got to sleep.=) I just wonder if she isn't going down Therese's path of hanging out with younger friends in order to be the queen bee and not have to progress in life. Oh, I also would have gotten Jonathon to speak more German to me. Er hat nicht so viel Deutsch gelernt, aber will ueben.

The downside of having had such a great weekend is the amount of work that now faces me. I need to stop slacking and buckle down to school. I know this will utterly shock anyone who knows me, but I actually spent two hours in the library yesterday...reading! I think I've done a better job of keeping up on my reading this semester than I ever did at Davis. Thank God for electronic reserves.

I'll try to come up with something interesting to say, meanwhile I have to earn a paycheck.
