As much as I kick myself for being a lazy student and not really caring about any topic I study, I'll have to admit one skill. I can turn out a paper in record time. Sonali yells at me for procrastinating and then understands when she sees that I do it because I can. I've never been late turning in an assignment. The work gets done. This is what I learned in college, and the skill that's been most finely honed in grad school: the last minute 3-10 page paper. This does however beg the question as to how transferable that skill really is.
