One of my jokes was always that I had to go to grad school because I had such a nice frame for my bachelors that it'd be a shame not to have anything to put with it. Now GW has foiled my plans again. They don't sell frames as nice as the one I got at Davis, so I'm going to have to get the next option down. I guess it doesn't really matter as they'll both be sitting under my bed for the next couple of years anyway.

Additionally, after looking at those tassel frames for years and thinking that they're just too cheesy, I've hit upon an idea. I want to find one that will allow me to frame ALL of my tassels together. The comedy of this idea? I still have my tassel from middle school. Why merely advertise my status as the class of '03 or '06, when I can be the class of '95, '99, '03, and '06? The colors don't really clash too badly, and if I could get a mahogany frame it might make a nice presentation to go with my diplomas. That said, I'm not about to frame my middle school and high school diplomas. That might take the joke a little too far.

As long as we're on the topic of jokes and graduation, I decided to sacrifice comedy to style this time and did not in fact wear my high school/college graduation dress for either of the GW ceremonies. A girl likes to feel pretty, and that's harder to do when a 24 year old is wearing a dress made for her when she was 17.
