Favorite lyric for the hour: "What the world needs now is another Frank Sinatra so I can get you in bed. What the world needs now is another folk singer like I need a hole in my head."
This week is determined to be bad, and I'm determined not to let it. Work and car are both kind of dragging me down. They both tie back to money. Funny how right Marx was. On the up side, Sonali and I had dinner with our new roommate last night, and I have a really good feeling about this. She's kind of adorable.=) In further attempts to salvage my week, I've made plans for happy hours tonight, tentative oddness for tomorrow, and dinner for Saturday. Oddly, what has me most excited is the opportunity that planning dinner affords me to discover the DC fish market. As some one without a lot of experience with fish on any level, this will be entirely new to me. It's also supposed to one of the very few pieces of the city that's still aggressively local. I'll have to take my camera and make a tour of it.
I keep meaning to do a photo safari of DC, but just can't seem to dedicate the time. It also doesn't help that I haven't got an artistic bone in my body. If it ever gets done, I'll let you know.
