In considering my travel plans before I start whatever grown up job I'll be doing after grad school, I've come up with the following list:
Europe: Dec 14-20
California: Dec 21-Jan 4
Argentina: Mar 9-20
US/Canada: June-ish 2006
Now let's see if I can afford all of that. The first two are fairly solid, the others are not quite so much. If anyone would like to help me plan the Great American Roadtrip, please let me know. I'm all for any suggestion that involves me staying somewhere for free. Otherwise, I'm buying a tent and a parks membership.
I used to think that I was smart, and I never felt cool. The first part has changed, but the rest is still true.

If you plan on heading through good ol' Oklahoma, I can get you a room in my recently transplanted parent's house.
Er, that is, they moved -- they didn't move their house.
But if you can avoid going through Oklahoma at all... I can't say I'd blame you. ;)
