The other day I called a co-worker my hero. It turns out that this kind of comment brings songs to mind. As she was trying to explain which song it was she was reminded of, it became quite clear that each of the people in the room had a very different musical association with the word:

-Hero by Marc Anthony
-Heroes by David Bowie
-Wind Beneath My Wings by Bette Middler

You get one guess which of these came from the attractive, straight, Latin man. I was actually kind of surprised that neither of them knew the Bowie song. In all fairness, it was covered by the Wallflowers, and featured in Moulin Rouge, not exactly obscure, even if you're not a Bowie fan. Regardless, I was entertained.
