The past several weekends have been host to some good DC fun, accompanied by some of my favorite people, and general fabulousness. While I know that I don't always come across happy here, and I've honestly been pretty far from it lately, I'll once again take this moment to remind myself and you that I do have amazing people in my life, and I understand that nothing's really that bad right now.

This was in part inspired by Catherine's response to my wedding blues. She pointed out to me just how lucky I am to have these friends getting married who want me to be there. Also, that they're getting married in places I want to go anyway. That's rather convenient as well. =) It looks like more happiness could be in store for the summer, but I need to make sure that certain things happen between now and then.
